Requirements

  • Must-have:
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your design skills and conceptual thinking
  • Strong aesthetic skills and a demonstration of graphic design core principles with respect to typography, layout/composition, grid systems, colour, photography, iconography, etc.
  • Ability to source authentic, compelling, candid, stock photography
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and similar tools
  • Ability to embrace feedback and continue to iterate and improve your work
  • Ability to communicate and present ideas and rationales
  • Value open communication and working on a small and transparent team
  • Nice-to-Haves:
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver well-thought-out design recommendations
  • Experience working in fast paced, experimental or start-up environments
  • Experience in Banking or Financial Services
  • An understanding of Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices.
  • Understanding of brand strategy a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and create brand identities, including logos, colour palettes, typography, etc
  • Conceptualize and create marketing assets, including websites, digital and social campaigns, digital publications, videos, and other marketing material
  • Develop and/or leverage existing brand guidelines to prepare and deliver assets
  • Work closely and collaboratively with RBCx and the ventures product and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, production artists, and writers to execute campaigns and digital solutions
  • Effectively rationalize and communicate ideas and designs
