  • On behalf of DuPont GOLD, DuPont is seeking to fill multiple graduate student internship and co-op positions. (https://www.dupont.com/careers/diversity-and-inclusion/about-the-gold-program.html). The DuPont GOLD (Growth Opportunities Leading in Diversity) program is intended for scientists and engineers from underrepresented groups (African American/Black, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latinx, or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander) interested in career opportunities in industrial research at DuPont. The successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary process engineering and chemistry team aimed at the scale-up and commercialization of electronic materials.   


  • Bachelor’s Degree in science (i.e. chemistry, material science, physics)
  • Pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, or closely related fields
  • Experience in one of these fields: organic synthesis (small molecule or polymer), analytical chemistry, polymer science, computational chemistry, inorganic chemistry, materials science, electrochemistry, or catalysis.
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills and effective teamwork skills
  • The ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and the ability to learn new systems quickly is required
  • Proficiency in data analysis & basic statistics skills
