Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science (i.e. chemistry, material science, physics)
  • Pursuing an M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, or closely related fields
  • Experience in one of these fields: organic synthesis (small molecule or polymer), analytical chemistry, polymer science, computational chemistry, inorganic chemistry, materials science, electrochemistry, or catalysis.
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills and effective teamwork skills
  • The ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and the ability to learn new systems quickly is required
  • Proficiency in data analysis & basic statistics skills

  • Develop an understanding of DuPont Business and Functions, products, and customers.
  • Ownership of a portion of a project
  • Ability to meet project deliverables and create new ones if needed
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a lab and professional environment
  • Ability to design and execute experiments
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Flexibility to perform other appropriate tasks as directed by Manager and/or Project Lead
  • Work in a dynamic, team environment that leverages the resources of our company.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals to increase your learning and development
  • Participate in the co-op/intern program work-specific training and development.
  • Work in a business casual environment with flexible work/life opportunities.
