Requirements

  • Must be pursuing PhD in cell biology, cancer biology, immuno-oncology, or related fields.
  • Must be attending an accredited institution.
  • Required skills:
  • Hands-on research experience in cell biology/cancer biology/biochemistry.
  • Familiar with cancer signaling pathways and mouse models of cancer.
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Other Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.
  • Experience with CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, flow cytometry is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute and interpret experiments to study the molecular mechanisms and novel therapeutic combinations to overcome resistance in vitro.
  • Characterize primary cell lines from novel mouse models of cancer.
  • Present data to scientists across the organization.
  • Keep an accurate and timely record of research findings and progress.
