Requirements

  • You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in the UK
  • You are graduating in 2026
  • You identify as at least one of the following:
  • Female pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) degree
  • Black

  • Person with Disability(ies)
  • You have a clearly defined interest in Finance and a keen desire to learn new concepts
  • You possess a high level of attention to detail, quantitative skills, and professional standards
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and have strong problem-solving skills
  • You are available for the full duration of the 8-week programme

Responsibilities

  • Job Shadowing: Summer analysts will have the opportunity to job shadow across Corporate Banking, Global Capital Markets, and Investment Banking. In this programme, you will learn the day-to-day across industry sectors and will have the opportunity to apply this knowledge across projects and activities.
  • Mentorship: Throughout the summer you will also benefit from a mentorship programme that pairs you with mentors from Corporate and Investment Banking, and Global Capital Markets to support your learning and answer any questions you might have! You will also attend regular business line fireside talks to learn all the ins and outs of working in CIB and GCM at Scotiabank.
  • Classroom: Within the THRIVE programme, analysts receive exclusive access to Wall Street Prep courses, coding training, case competitions, Bloomberg learning, and other relevant workshops to polish and develop technical skills. Following your time in the classroom, you will gain exposure to top global executives across the bank to learn from their experiences and network.
