Responsibilities

  • Utilise and control the award-winning environment, social and governance management platform - LightStay, utility consumption data, invoices and other available data sources to analyse trends, and identify areas of opportunities for resource conservation and innovative efficiency solutions across the EMEA portfolio. Also highlight improvements and future development focuses for LightStay tool.
  • Control and manage the reporting within the EMEA Engineering and Environmental performance program.
  • Develop and verify the use of data analytics for consumption benchmarking, cost forecasting and financial reporting for the existing and onboarding portfolio, managing stakeholder queries.
  • Develop and share best practices and self-help tools to assist hotel innovative utility savings and sustainability initiatives across the region.
  • Provide analysis of pilot projects and prepare ROI reports for state-of-the-art utility and carbon reduction technologies.
  • Assist and ensure compliance with company standards and the requirements of EU energy and environmental legislation.
  • Review energy market intelligence and invoice detail to inform decisions in the utility procurement process and contribute to the implementation of innovative approaches to energy contracting.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all energy procurement, trading and contracting activity, as well as environmental legislation documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policy and procedures.
  • Support Regional Engineering Specialists, individual hotels and other corporate functions with requests for sustainability/energy advice, initiatives and reports.
  • Produce, develop and contribute to regular business reports and statistics as required by Energy & Environment team and key business stakeholders.
