  • We are seeking exceptional Analyst Interns to join our Investment Banking team in Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) Investment Banking team in Menlo Park.  The TMT team advises clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors on various financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity/equity-linked and debt financings, joint ventures, restructurings, and financial investments. Key sub-sectors covered in the Menlo Park office include Security Software, Infrastructure Software, Data and Analytics, Application Software, Vertical Software, Enterprise Infrastructure and Systems. The team is a rapidly growing and critically important strategic initiative for Guggenheim Securities.  Analyst interns will join our highly collaborative team responsible for providing advisory services to private equity firms and corporate clients with a strong emphasis on sell-side advisory engagements.
  • We are seeking highly motivated individuals with exceptional quantitative and communication skills looking to jump-start their career through hands-on training and experience at a growing firm. The Investment Banking unit will source most of its full-time analyst class from the internship program.

  • Support deal teams in developing, maintaining and using complex financial models
  • Perform various financial analyses, including valuations and merger consequences
  • Perform comprehensive company and industry research and gain in-depth understanding of sector trends, client challenges and strategies in order to develop innovative and creative solutions for our clients
  • Create client pitches, software and enterprise thought pieces and management presentations
  • Prepare client presentations and interacting with senior bankers, clients, lawyers and accountants
  • Participation in due diligence sessions, communication and interaction with deal team members
  • Management of several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
