  • Experience: Completed coursework aligned with essential functions of the role.

  • Certification/Licensure: None
  • Other: Must possess effective written and oral communication skills. Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • May regularly operate a computer and occasionally operate other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Must regularly communicate with employees/customers; must be able to exchange accurate information.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, climb, kneel, crouch or crawl, and use hands to handle, finger or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to wear protective clothing (goggles, face shield, surgical mask, respirator, cap, gloves, scrubs, boots).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to work with and/or near moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, toxic or caustic chemicals and biohazards, and live animals with risk of exposure to allergens and/or zoonotic diseases.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, unpleasant odors, wet, humid and/or extreme temperature conditions, and risk of electrical shock.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and maintain on the job training necessary for the performance of activities.
  • Observe and perform basic laboratory procedures and collect and record/document research data in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), study protocols and company policies/practices.
  • Display an ability to complete necessary system and regulatory documentation.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and actively participate in safety trainings.
  • Strong communication skills for cross departmental function.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
