  • It is desirable that Band 5 annex 21 applicants have commenced their IBMS Registration Training Portfolio whilst working in a Cellular Pathology laboratory.
  • For applicants applying for band 5 annex 21, if successful, will be supported to complete their Registration Training Portfolio.
  • Public Holiday cover is required and all staff at band 5 including annex 21 will participate within this rotation, if competent to do so with presence of band 6/ band 6 annex 21 colleagues.
  • Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case.
  • If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
