What is the role of the Accounting Intern?
The Accounting Intern will assist the accounting team with job set up, billing, accounts payable/receivable, reporting, document filing and retrieval, and managing project contracts and amendments.
What responsibilities will the intern have?
The intern will participate in monthly project forecast meetings, learn accounting policies and procedures, gain basic knowledge of the construction industry, and seek out additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, have prior exposure to the construction industry (which is a plus), or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.
What skills are preferred for applicants?
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred for applicants.
