Responsibilities

  • Supporting the reporting actuaries by delivering quality reserve and income statement submissions for internal and external reporting across different basis (IFRS17, local and Swiss statutory, etc.)
  • Developing a sound understanding of the underlying risks on the balance sheet and using this knowledge to facilitate proactive management of the in-force portfolio.
  • Developing creative and pragmatic solutions to continuously improve our processes.
  • Improving the quality of the modelling by validating cedent data and selecting appropriate assumptions.
  • Supporting experience studies, including understand and process the data inputs, investigate the movements in the assumptions, communicate results, etc.
