Description

  • ConvergeOne is looking to add an Intern to our rapidly growing Cisco Contact Center Application Development team. The Intern will work with a senior engineer to learn and assist with the configuration and implementation of Cisco Contact Center Applications. You will work as part of a team of professionals that play a key role in implementing top tier solutions and delivering high quality results. This Intern is expected to be in or nearing their senior year of a degree program in Computer Science, focused on programming, or a similar area. 


Requirements

  • In or near senior year working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field, focused on programming
  • Ability to work in a delivery environment that involves structured processes and flexible timelines
  • Strong experience with a major programming language like Java or C#
  • Experience with REST API calls and Web Service development
  • Experience with a disciplined development methodology and release management process
  • Strong Office 365 experience expected (Visio, Excel, Word)
  • Strong customer facing & presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Customer service focused
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Desired/Preferred Qualifications
  • Desire to obtain Cisco Certifications: UCCE Specialist, UCCX, CCNA, CCNP, etc.
  • Experience with SQL query and stored procedure development
  • Experience with a diagramming tool like Visio, Matlab, LabView, etc.
  • Familiarity with Eclipse IDE
  • Familiarity with Web Development

Responsibilities

  • Develops contact center call flows and self-service IVR applications with instruction
  • Contributes to a technical team to ensure consistency and interoperability between solution components
  • Explores new features and gains experience with latest versions of Cisco applications
  • Works with ConvergeOne‚Äôs engineers deploying Cisco Contact Center solutions
  • Gains insight into the life cycle of contact center projects, acting as a resource working with other developers, project managers, and clients to meet specific needs throughout the process
  • Reviews and updates detailed technical design documentation
  • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.‚ÄĮ
  • Fosters a culture that embraces continuous improvement and positive change to support ConvergeOne's unique mission/vision, and to continue to build on its tradition of excellence‚ÄĮ‚ÄĮ
  • Participates in department and/or team meetings‚ÄĮ
  • Fulfills responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by ConvergeOne for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company‚ÄĮ
