  • This thrilling opportunity is field-based, meaning that you will work alongside our highly skilled engineers, traveling between our clients’ sites each day. Our work may also require heavy lifting and working from heights.

Responsibilities

  • An apprenticeship with us will see you building new skills, while applying your knowledge to real-world live projects.
  • You will work closely with out experienced engineers at our clients’ sites. The majority of our sites are in the Cork area, but further travel may be required.
  • You will learn how to install pipework for Fire Sprinkler systems in Industrial buildings.
  • Installation of plant items such as Fire pumps, Valve, pumphouse piping etc.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance of plant items such as Fire pumps, Sprinkler alarm valves.
  • Trained in the installation and repair of Carbon steel, Ductile Iron and PVC pipework.
  • Develop skills in installation of mechanical equipment.
  • You will be trained in the fabrication of pipework, threading, and grooving.
  • On-the-job training will be provided working closely with our experienced Fire & Security engineers, many of these engineers have also been through our apprenticeship scheme so they are the perfect mentors to guide you through the apprenticeship.
