Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to understand basic engineering terminology. Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree with courses in Architectural engineering is required.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and written with effective use of visual aids. Should be able to use computing technology for problem analysis and solution.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for significant portion of data analysis on projects of limited scope; identifies data discrepancies, reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical work of others. Outlines technical approaches, for lower level associates, and checks mathematical work in progress.Assumes reporting responsibility for defined areas, and prepares procedures as required. Assists engineers with presentations, by developing innovative approaches to data display. Works closely with engineers to define/clarify requirements for accomplishment by others. Provides organizational integrity for the group, and effectively utilizes the manpower available for peak productivity. Develops internal procedures to resolve problem areas, and provides an orderly method for work flow.
  • A successful candidate would be supporting space planning
  • Experience with AutoCAD drawing production
  • Experience with Revit 3-D modeling
  • Some code compliance evaluation experience
