About the Team:

  • Our Private Wealth and Estates Group is recognised in the market for its expertise in advising private clients and their businesses. In particular, we have a large client base in the Landed Estates sector, with clients spread across the UK.
  • We provide a personal partner-led service, concentrating on personal and business finances. We choose to specialise in looking after private clients (whatever their source of wealth), where we have real in-depth expertise and experience.
  • Clients use us for a wide variety of services: advising on different types of trusts, accounting legislation, asset protection or estate planning; or the tax-efficient structuring of their affairs. We also provide comprehensive compliance services for our clients including accounts preparation, auditing, tax compliance and payroll services. We have considerable experience in advising on international and cross-border issues. We use our diverse commercial experience to advise on the issues facing high net worth individuals today, such as the financing of business interests, maintenance, and passing on of wealth and the tax efficient streamlining of their affairs.

  • Our scheme runs for a period of six to eight weeks each summer and provides a unique and valuable insight into the workings of Saffery.
  • You’ll be partnered with a dedicated mentor who will ensure your placement is both enjoyable and challenging. You’ll also benefit from a bookkeeping course which is completed during your time with us.

  • A 35-hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am-4pm
  • To recognise your contribution to the firm as an intern, we pay an hourly rate and compensate any appropriate expenses (if you travel to a client)
  • Annual leave allowance (pro-rated)
