What will the Audit & Assurance Intern do during the internship?
The intern will be exposed to audit procedures in areas such as cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payrolls, and expense analysis while working alongside Partners, Senior Executives, and peers as part of the engagement team.
What types of projects will the intern work on?
The intern will work on reviewing and auditing business transaction cycles, researching audit issues, and collaborating with client team members on various client engagements across different industries.
What are the qualification requirements for this position?
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with a minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
Is travel required for this internship?
Yes, the intern should be willing and able to travel to various client sites and work additional hours as needed.
What kind of skills are necessary for this internship?
Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are essential, along with strong technical aptitude and project management skills including project planning and time management.
