Requirements

  • You are currently completing a university degree in data science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, computer science or a related field
  • Available to work with us 35 hours per week for fall 2024 (September 3 to December 13)
  • Available to work in hybrid mode (2 days in the office and 3 from home)
  • Must return to studies in summer or winter 2025 after your internship
  • Have at least one completed university internship; Have skills in object-oriented programming;
  • Have experience in Python and Java programming;
  • Have an interest in Java/Kotlin, Docker/Kubernetes, Hazelcast / Redis, Spring Boot / Spring Cloud and MongoDB / Oracle technologies;
  • Have knowledge of design patterns in development;
  • Understand the basics of the agile SCRUM methodology;
  • Have a good understanding of the entire software development cycle;
  • Bilingualism is ESSENTIAL (French and English) *Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the development team to coordinate the development of new features and resolve issues;
  • Learn to design, code and test new features of our font management system.
  • To discover what the work of a Developer looks like and how technological advances are changing the way things are done in insurance;
  • Explore new ideas and learn best practices in a pleasant and inclusive environment;
  • To use your creativity to help the team solve problems and contribute to important and stimulating projects;
  • Participate in social activities with the team to meet people and celebrate successes;
