What qualifications do I need to apply for the Building Services Design Apprentice position?
You need A Levels with grades BBB, including Maths and preferably a Science, or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with DDM in an Engineering subject area. Additionally, you can qualify with a Building Services Engineering Technician Level 3 apprenticeship alongside a minimum of a Pass or Distinction at EPA and 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent.
What will be my work schedule during the apprenticeship?
You will be expected to join us full-time from September 2025, with regular attendance at your home office and travel to a training provider on a weekly basis.
Is there an age requirement for the apprenticeship?
Yes, you must be aged 18 or older when your apprenticeship begins in September 2025.
Do I need to have the Right to Work in the UK?
Yes, you must have the permanent Right to Work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
What type of degree will I be working towards during the apprenticeship?
You will be studying for a BEng (Hons) in Building Services Engineering at London South Bank University.
Will I receive any mentorship during my apprenticeship?
Yes, you will be allocated a mentor who will act as your trusted advisor throughout your program.
