Description

  • As a Business Development and Product Marketing Intern at FORVIS, you may be working on the processes and operations that drive the promotion, adoption, and sales of technologies, platforms, customer-facing products, and/or enterprise systems that the Innovation Lab of FORVIS is developing.
  • In this role, you would be able to work on a variety of assignments as defined by team leaders, direct supervisors, or other more senior staff and may include, but are not limited to, attending meetings, providing verbal or written status reports, responding to email requests, discovering and analyzing data, aiding in market research, performing financial analysis, aiding in the creation of presentations, and generally helping with project and operational tasks as assigned. This position requires abilities in the areas of discipline, leadership, organizational, and operational skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent project management, writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Effective listening skills and is someone who builds quick rapport and nurtures relationships with a diverse audience

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a full-time student in an accredited college or university
  • Must have declared a major in an applicable field (Business Analysis, Market Research, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship, Business, Business Administration, Economics, etc.).
  • Must be a fourth-year college student (80+ credit hours)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • This is an entry-level position, therefore, no experience is required. However, any related experience would be helpful for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge gained throughout the educational experience related to communication, marketing, and products/solutions to assist in the creation of marketing collateral and written documentation regarding these products and/or solutions that FORVIS may be developing. The exemplary individual may also contribute to the creation of marketing campaigns.
  • You will work closely with the EDGE Business Development Executive on a product-by-product basis to assist them in the execution of go-to-market sales activities
  • Assist in the design and production of sales support materials
  • Work to acquire, validate, and clean lead lists in coordination with other Marketing and Business Development team members, client service team members, etc.
  • Engage in multi-touch-point prospecting
  • Ensure data integrity throughout the entire sales operations process
  • Assist the Product Marketing team in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, content marketing, and digital advertising, to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and encourage product adoption
