Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of ACPE-Certified Educator, provides spiritual support to THR's patients and their loved ones, facilitating coping and medical decision making during hospitalization.
  • Contributes to the goals of Pastoral Care department by dependably and compassionately responding to emergent requests for professional spiritual support for patients, families, and THR clinical staff.
  • Navigates electronic medical record processes and documents completion of pastoral care consult requests according to established Pastoral Care processes
  • Serves as an opportunity for the employee to gain working knowledge of assigned area while contributing to THR's vision and mission.
  • Participates in special projects and/or performs other duties as assigned.
