Is this position remote or in-person?
This is not a remote position; it requires in-person work at our Panama City Beach, Florida office.
What tasks will I be responsible for as a Civil Engineering Intern?
Interns will be responsible for analyzing, producing, and quality-checking deliverables, contributing to pre-construction civil engineering design, solving complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating across disciplines for multiple projects.
What kind of educational background is required for this internship?
Applicants should be in the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
What software programs will I learn to use during the internship?
Interns will learn to use software programs specific to their disciplines, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.
