Requirements

  • Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is currently in progress or recently completed from an accredited institution
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (please don't round).

  • Automotive industry experience, experience in core ELSS tools (VSM, 5S+, Standard Work,

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CI manager, operations team, and Quality team.
  • Collect data and use it to create statistical process charts.
  • Follow up on identified action items
  • Updates CI Tracker management and cost out pipeline
  • Participates in Eaton Lean System (ELSS) assessments and identify performance gaps. Works supporting the leadership team to prioritize improvement activities and close gaps.
  • Provides Lean and Industrial Engineering support across the organization to drive short-term and long-term business improvements.
  • Utilizes Lean tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction
  • Assure environmental, health and safety requirements are satisfied when the projects are implemented.
  • Other duties as assigned
