  • Delta Air Lines’ Operations & Customer Center (OCC) is seeking qualified co-op students, available for a minimum of 3 alternating work terms (Fall, 2024, Summer, 2025 and Spring, 2026).
  • OCC Co-Ops will be assigned to one of the teams that support Delta’s 24/7 operation. The OCC is the “heartbeat” and nerve center of Delta’s world-wide operations and is responsible for all tactical and strategic decision-making for any operational disruption in our worldwide network. Co-ops will work with aviation professionals, supporting our teams by using data to solve operational business challenges


  • Undergraduate students in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management or similar 4-year degree program
  • Must be available to work for three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM work schedule
  • Must be enrolled with educational institution throughout duration of co-op program
  • Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required - be willing try new things and fail, learn from each experience and improve
  • Willingness to brainstorm with and leverage expertise of other team members, maintaining a team-first attitude with success of your team as top priority
  • Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills are essential

Software Engineering


  • Load Control Center – This OCC Co-Op will be assigned to our Load Control Center (LCC), which is responsible for aircraft weight and balance, fuel distribution, and ensuring compliance to manufacturer and company specifications. This Co-Op will work with the LCC’s back office, creating applications and efficiencies to reduce workload for the frontline team.
  • Fuel Strategy – This OCC Co-Op will be assigned to our Fuel Strategy team, which is responsible for developing strategy, tools, and sustainability policy for $14 billion in annual jet fuel consumed by the airline. This Co-Op will investigate and develop methods to determine safe and economical fuel loads, improve aircraft routing, and enhance payload forecasting.
