Requirements

  • Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business administration, Supply Chain Management or engineering at an accredited institution
  • Must have a combined GPA of 2.5 or higher (please do not round)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on a continual permanent basis.
  • Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Carol Stream, IL.
  • Must complete his/her bachelor’s degree in 2024.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in automotive industry
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement projects
  • Proficiency in Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management
  • Position Criteria:
  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Supply Chain and/or Business knowledge and experience Thorough knowledge of planning and scheduling (directs materials replenishment process).
  • Desired knowledge of manufacturing and production, forecasting and inventory management procedures.
  • Must leverage good communication, analytical and PC skills with the ability to problem solve quickly and effectively.
  • Self-motivated and possessing a drive for results.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Materials Planning organization in developing the Material Management Basis (process, system, tools) according to Mobility´s group expectation on Materials functional excellence.
  • Align and optimize strategies to meet Plant and Divisional metric measurement goals, such as on time delivery, Inventory Profile, ABC/XYZ classification, Excess & Obsolete Process, days on hand, etc.
  • Plan and purchase raw materials and manufactured parts for assigned vendors ensuring customer demand is met.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records, such as purchase orders, quotations, correspondence, supplier management and/or organizational charts.
  • Manage and communicate demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier, considering capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution.
  • Detect critical needs and advise planners, plant, supervisors, and quality as needed.
  • Communicate plans, status, and results to senior managers and leadership.
  • Collect and analyze replenishment data and implement process improvements that advance operating efficiencies.
