Requirements

  • Community college, trade school, and university undergraduate or graduate students from the class of 2023 or 2024 in good academic standing
  • Minimum of 2.8 GPA
  • Knowledge of and interest in international film history
  • Data entry and file management
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in and/or experience with cataloging and data entry
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets including Excel and Google Docs
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Problem solving, multitasking and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sr. Archivist with inventorying and processing collections
  • Assist the Sr. Archivist with the creation of catalog records for the public website
  • Write interview summaries, abstracts and bios, and collection profiles
  • Gather data and reporting statistics about archival collections and content
  • Organize interview metadata in our Airtable database
