The ideal candidate should have strong writing and communication skills, good organizational and time management abilities, familiarity with public relations activities and terms, proficiency in Microsoft programs, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Digital/social media experience is a plus. Preferred majors include Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, and Social Media, and the preferred classification is junior, senior, or recent graduate.

The College Intern - Corporate Communications at Independence Blue Cross will support the department's goals by assisting with communication plans, drafting media alerts and press releases, writing social media posts, conducting research, coordinating photo/video shoots and special events, and other writing and editing tasks.
