Requirements

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with Windows 10/11 desktop Operating Systems
Familiarity with Windows Server 2016/ 2019/ 2022
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with Powershell
Reporting and data analysis may be required on an as needed basis.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and shift focus based on changing priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn processes and technology concepts.
Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Microsoft Outlook
Education:
College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Responsibilities

Assist the SQL database administrators in the following:
Maintain database inventory information.
Review reports and remediate issues (backup failures, SQL report delivery failures, low disk space, etc.)
Complete customer requests for SQL support (database refreshes, new databases/SQL servers, security changes, database archival, database backup/ restore, etc.)
Coordinate SQL patching work with 3rd party vendor.
Complete assigned project work (upgrade databases, build new reports/ scripts, implement DB standards, etc.)
