  • Phoenix-based SRP, the nation's third-largest public power and water utility, is recruiting a technical college student intern to be a member of its HR Operations Team.
  • This unique student intern position of providing Human Resources Information System (HRIS) technical support will present opportunity to learn valuable technical skills, gain hands-on experience through intentional learning objectives, and personal development in leveraging job skill attainment. 
  • We are looking for a highly motivated student with great technical aptitude and eagerness to learn.


  • Eligibility/Pay Structure/Hours:
  • To be eligible for the Student Intern Program at SRP, the employee must be actively enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours that are college level (100) or above over the course of a regular semester and must be working towards a degree from an accredited college or university.
  • For an accelerated program, the student must be enrolled in six credit hours in the equivalent of a traditional semester.
  • This is a paid opportunity for a student working a minimum of 15 hours per week. However, work hours and schedules may fluctuate based on departmental needs.
  • Pay rate is $18.75 per hour for an undergraduate intern and $20.80 per hour for a graduate intern.
  • Experience:
  • Selected candidate should be enrolled in college, preferably in an IT-related or Business curriculum and have completed coursework to develop skills appropriate for the assignment.
  • Education:
  • College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.
