Requirements

  • Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, or journalism.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an attention to detail and ability to adapt to different communication styles and audiences.
  • Must be able to work on site in our Richmond office for 20 hours a week (schedule is flexible).

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain the team’s yearly content calendar.
  • Support the development of policies and work instructions that govern the creation and publication of compliant content across internal and external channels.
  • Present concepts for high-quality content projects that resonate with a range of internal and external audiences.
  • Contribute to content creation, including writing, editing, and proofreading of internal and external communications, such as emails, articles, talking points, presentations, social media posts, and other materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
  • Support the planning and execution of company events and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, speaker’s series, and internal communications campaigns.
  • Support the measurement of content performance through data.
