Responsibilities

  • - Assist project teams in managing construction projects/ including all phases from bidding to final completion.
  • - Assignments include office and job site; relocation to remote sites may be required.
  • - Learn the engineering and technical aspects of the project both in the field and in the office.
  • - Perform quantity take-off.
  • - Conduct layout.
  • - Carry out preconstruction/as-built surveys.
  • - Review/approve shop drawings & maintain a log.
  • - Review/approve submittals & maintain a log.
  • - Review/submit requests for information (RFI) & maintain a log.
  • - Respond to subcontractor RFIs.
  • - Interface with subcontractors & suppliers.
  • - Attend weekly progress meetings.
  • - Assist with coordinating the work between the owner, architect & subcontractors.
  • - Assist during the bid process.
  • - Review construction documents & specifications.
  • - Review all document revisions & clarifications.
  • - Maintain field records.
  • - Assist with estimates/budgets/value engineering/constructability surveys.
  • - Write contracts & purchase orders.
  • - Prepare billings to owner & submit change orders.
  • - Approve invoices.
  • - Order & expedite materials.
  • - Schedule & update project timelines.
  • - Assist with quality control & safety.
