  • The Consumer Research intern position will work closely with the Data Strategy team and assist in key consumer research projects for Gannett during the internship:
  • Assist in analyzing internal and external consumer data to help identify key drivers behind news consumption among younger adults
  • Work collaboratively with fellow interns and the Data Strategy team to create and execute a complete research plan on a topic or opportunity relevant to Gannett’s 2024 strategic goals
  • Present summary of research conducted and recommendations to senior Gannett leadership
  • Specific job responsibilities include:
  • Analyze consumer data from various internal and external sources
  • Assist in survey development, programming, and execution
  • Assist in data processing, cleaning, and coding of open-ended responses
  • Work collaboratively with fellow interns and the Data Strategy team to create, execute, and present key findings and recommendations from the summer research project
