Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Junior or Senior undergraduate student in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Previous Engineering consulting firm work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry

Responsibilities

  • In the role of Control Systems Intern, we'll count on you to:
  • Drafting review responses
  • Generating and backchecking revisions to engineering drawings
  • Specification formatting and content editing
  • Drafting technical memos
  • Working with equipment vendors to obtain budgetary quotes
  • Implementing markups to Plant3D P&IDs
  • Documenting meeting minutes
  • Creating/generating schedules for I/O points, valves, motors, and instruments
  • Performing site visits in order to assist with project information gathering, punchlisting during construction, and/or condition assessments
