Requirements

  • Intermediate video editing experience (premiere pro, after effects & photoshop software experience is essential) and social media content creation
  • Able to research and work as a pre-production assistance
  • Basic production assistance skills - e.g. location set up, distributing scripts and call sheets, collecting equipment and props, arranging catering
  • Experience working on a set or studio shoot setting
  • Practical experience with camera, lighting and sound equipment
  • Able to capture on-set behind-the-scenes video content on mobile for our social
  • Experience publishing posts on TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat & YouTube
  • Great copy writing skills for social media posts
  • Contribute to brainstorms and creative development of new ideas for shows, formats and ad-hoc content

  • Open-minded, versatile, and willing individual to help us achieve all of the weird and wonderful things that we create
  • A big love of music (pop, rap, R&B and indie) and an interest in music marketing
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Team oriented and always keen to help and assist where possible
  • A deep understanding of social media (especially shortform video; TikTok, Reels, Shorts)

Responsibilities

  • Universal Music Group is looking for a Production & Video Editing Intern to join Rebel Labs, their social-first content studio and network of social media brands.
  • The role would support the original content team who create social assets featuring global UMG artists and priority music releases.
  • You’ll be obsessed with music and have your finger on the pulse of internet youth culture, digital video on TikTok, Shorts and Reels.
