Requirements

  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative team
  • Curiosity, for television and the entertainment industry as a whole and for optimizing technology and supporting new process and design
  • Eager to learn and work with various departments across the enterprise
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Airtable or other database management platforms, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with confidential and privileged information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience working in or with non-profit organizations
  • Familiarity working with Microsoft Planner, MS Tasks, OneNote, and SharePoint
  • Possess a passion for accuracy, drive for building new processes, and use tools that are yet-to-be explored; while maintaining a balance between the details and the larger picture
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working as an intern in an office environment
  • Previous experience working in the entertainment industry (or adjacent) preferred, but not required
  • Education:
  • Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year, or a recent graduate (applying within six months of graduation)
  • Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
  • Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program

Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date records of creative talent (writers, producers, and directors) the department tracks
  • Provide support for referral service, which CTDI provides for DET executives and producers seeking curated recommendations of creative talent for their consideration
  • Read scripts and reviewing other creative material
  • Attend meetings with various internal and external partners whenever possible
  • Assist with departmental projects and events
