The Cyber and Critical Infrastructure Summer Institute (CSI) internship program will run during the summer with start dates between May 19, 2025, and June 23, 2025, and flexible end dates through September 26, 2025.

The monthly pay for this internship position is $9,950.
What qualifications do I need to apply for the internship?
Applicants must be continuing college or university students in good standing at an accredited institution pursuing a graduate degree, have demonstrated academic achievement in a scientific or engineering curriculum, and possess effective communication skills, among other qualifications.

Yes, the internship focuses on critical infrastructure analysis, modeling and simulation, cybersecurity, risk and decision analysis, infrastructure modeling, threat and hazard modeling, data analysis, operations research and optimization, and artificial intelligence/machine learning.
Will I have the opportunity to present my work?
Yes, interns are expected to present their work through presentations and/or poster sessions.
Is a security clearance required for this position?
No security clearance is required for this position, but it involves U.S. Export Control, and the work must be performed by a U.S. person.
