  • Full-Time Intern- Must be registered for Full-time Internship Credit
  • Part-Time Intern– Must be registered for 6+ credit hours
  • Experience in 1 or more programming languages
  • Task / team leadership experience
  • Strong math skills and ability to learn complex engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with Linux and open source tools
  • Configuration management tools
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas
  • 40 hours per week
  • Due to our research contracts with the US federal government, candidates for this position are required to be US Citizens.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • The Research Intern defines, conceptualizes, describes, and manages an engineering solution specific to the enterprise system.
  • Responsible for understanding the architecture, design, and development of software built for sponsors, specifically focusing on fully automated deployments during Fall 2024.
  • Additional responsibilities include understanding how integration with third-party software vendors will impact the system and providing guidance on impact to the enterprise.
  • This position will interact with government sponsors and government technical experts to translate business requirements into technical requirements and provide guidance to technical teams for execution of requirements.
