  • Knowledge of advanced data modeling techniques; predictive modeling, link analysis, graphical analysis, supervised and unsupervised models.
  • Power BI\Tableau development. DAX queries and\or Tableau Prep. Developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI\Tableau reports.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft PowerApps suite. Development and integration experience with REST services.
  • Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language). Coding skills in languages such as Python and/or R. Experience writing SQL used in report customizations.
  • Data warehouse analysis experience including the ability to read Data Flow Diagrams, Conceptual and Physical Models.
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Pursuing a bachelors degree or have graduated with a Bachelors degree from an accredited university within the last year.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibilities will include:
  • High level solution consulting for D&A customers helping to assist in ‘How Do I’ type of questions for Data Analytics groups focusing primarily on Power BI & Tableau
  • Facilitation of Communities of Practice to enhance the customer experience for users of strategic BI products including Tableau, Databricks and Power BI
  • Creating and updating content to enhance the customer experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Confluence
  • Aggregation of content from D&A product stewards to design, create and publish a 3-Year Product Roadmap for Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects & ESRI deployments at KP
  • Working closely with the D&A BI reporting team will design & document key processes such as: triage of Service Now requests, intake of D&A customers and onboarding of tenants
  • Tableau Creator Licensing Project – Metadata capture for Tableau Creator licensing for consolidation purposes
  • Collaborate with team members (business analysts, software engineers, database engineers and managers) with diverse and varied technical skills to create specific set of deliverables.
  • Create online content, presentation materials and recommendations.
  • Work daily within a dynamic multidisciplinary analytics team environment, taking direction from technical leaders, IT partners, and business partners.
  • Naturally curious and interested in growing their own knowledge set, self-motivated and quick to learn and apply knowledge with the KP analytics ecosystem.
  • Assist existing and onboarding Data & Analytics tenants.
  • Serve as a first level Business Intelligence technical subject matter expert (SME) in both Power BI & Tableau. Basic knowledge and awareness of Cognos, Business Objects & ESRI.
  • Champions and manages new initiatives to improve and streamline operations processes and maximize systems efficiency.
