Responsibilities

  • With minimal supervision can evaluate either open-source software solutions of vendor products within Snowflake ecosystem that can lead to departmental increase in productivity and/or reduction of cloud compute costs
  • Researches and evaluates relevant Snowflake product features as they relate to day-to-day data engineering work
  • Assist in developing and testing of our data orchestration pipelines utilizing Apache Airflow
  • Help build Snowflake data replication and cloning capabilities
  • Assists in developing and testing of various ETL pipelines
  • Documents findings and creates proof-of-concept demonstrations
  • Participates in team discussions and contributes to solution design
  • Helps identify AI Agent solutions for data access management capabilities
  • Assist in building CI/CD pipelines to automate data engineering code deployment
