Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is completing their final year of university or has recently graduated, preferably majoring in Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, Math, Data Analytics, Business, or related field
  • Bilingual is preferred
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working with SQL code
  • Eager to learn

Responsibilities

  • Participating in the documenting of current business procedures and processes and identifying areas for improvement and efficiencies
  • Assists in the creation of documentation for Key Data Elements, its definition (Glossary), flow (Data Lineage), Data Quality Business Rules, etc.
  • Creating PowerPoints to assist with Monthly Data Management Program’s reporting packages
  • Special Project work related to strategic initiatives within the bank, focused on ensuring the Data Management program requirements are integrated – i.e. Project Phoenix
  • They will create relationships within IT and Business that will help them grow during the internship. They will also sharpen and expand their technical skills within Excel and SQL. Through ongoing interactions with the business they will work on their effective communication and presentation skills. As Data Management crosses multiple areas and functions within the bank, this internship serves as a learning opportunity to develop and enhance business acumen.
