Requirements

  • Currently pursuing PHD degree in quantitative majors, such as data science, statistics, computer science, math, physics
  • Graduating December 2024 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
  • Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2024
  • Fluency in SQL, Python, or R
  • The ability to communicate analysis results to a non-technical audience
  • Basic understanding of statistics, experimentation and machine learning
  • Plus: intern experience in data science, analytics or similar fields previously
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Responsibilities

  • The primary role of a Data Science Intern for our Data team is to conduct analysis on user behavior, product features and content ecosystem to generate business insights that could be applied to actionable improving initiatives. You will work closely with cross-function teams, such as PM\RD\MLE, to improve user experience and fulfill the growth of TikTok in all different regions.
