  • This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last five years and obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role you have been recruited for.
  • You must hold the right to work full time in the UK and qualify for service under the Civil Service Nationality Rules without any additional immigration approvals.
  • You must be able to evidence this at interview and it must not expire before the start of the scheme.
  • If your right to work will expire while you are in employment, you must be able to reconfirm your right to work before it expires, without sponsorship, to maintain your employment.
  • Obtaining SC security clearance can be a lengthy process, and we reserve the right to withdraw any conditional offer made if the necessary security clearance isn’t obtained.

Responsibilities

  • You will undertake various work-based placements within the Air Environment. These will include assignments within the DE&S Aircraft Systems & Platforms delivery teams, industry partners and at a Front Line Command organisation facing DE&S Aircraft Systems & Platforms delivery teams. Placements will support personal development, scheme completion and a pathway to application for professional registration at Incorporated Engineer level within 12 months of completing the scheme”
