Requirements

  • Student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.  
  • Experience in Service Management using ITSM tools such as Remedy and IT related functions such as Cloud and Application development, Security, Infrastructure software development or support.  
  • Experience working with Mac OS X and Windows 10\11, MS Office, and computer software and hardware equipment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and remote access problems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and end user support to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues, including help desk notes for escalation and resolution.
  • Complete PC setup and deployment for new employees and perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades per company specifications, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, and software issues reported to the service desk.
  • Monitor and remove viruses, spyware, and other non-authorized software from devices.
  • Apply firmware updates as needed.
  • Participate in activities related to Change Management, Major Incident Response, and other key processes.
  • Work with multiple regional teams in support of Sony operations.
  • Support of ITIL V4 processes
