Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science or a related field
  • Exposure to software engineering methodologies and practices
  • Exposure to Linux operating system and programming languages such as Java, C++, Golang, or Python
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Learn about how HPE works as a business and adds value to clients.
  • Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information.
  • Support research, analysis and problem solving using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Produce high quality work which adheres to the relevant professional standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical developments for area of specialism.
  • Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly.
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in materials produced.
  • Embrace different points of view and welcome opposing and conflicting ideas.
  • Our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team improves platform infrastructure and applications with high reliability, resiliency, performance & quality. The global team have backgrounds in software development, Cloud, DevOps, and modern technology delivery.
  • You will build and enhance your knowledge in software DevOps/SRE methodologies, principles, practices, and the software development lifecycle. You will perform development activities within the team, including but not limited to:
  • working as part of a team in an Agile environment
  • writing code by using current programming languages and technologies
  • receiving guidance from a senior member of the Engineering team who will help and guide you technically
  • utilizing new trends in technologies, software development methodologies, and techniques
  • Developing new features
  • Identifying, fixing, and documenting bugs
  • Participating in peer code reviews
  • Contributing to team knowledge base
