Responsibilities

  • The Licensing Intern is responsible for supporting the Hardlines and/or Consumables licensing team in the management of one or several Licensed Product sub-categories and the associated licensee base. They will partner closely with the manager and support day-to-day business operations. Some of the exciting projects include:
  • Conduct periodic store checks and present insights on product and promotional trends.
  • Research and understand the competitive landscape. Analyze and understand market trends and consumer trends by analyzing industry and consumer insights data.
  • Liaise with the greater global and Product Development team to ensure accurate and timely approval of product and packaging on online product approval. Ensure product features are communicated optimally on packaging.
  • Support the North American marketing approval process. Submit and track all category, franchise, and legal approvals – navigating internal processes and systems.
  • Proactively engage PR and Social Media teams to provide priority product lists and amplify key licensees’ product lines.
  • Prepare presentations, request Marketing samples, and lend a hand with other tasks as they come up.
  • Work with Licensees to maintain Licensee Line Lists and Product Priority Lists in a shared folder.
  • Support Manager and Senior Manager in everyday responsibilities such as preparing presentations, requesting Marketing samples, and other projects as necessary.
