What are the eligibility requirements to apply for this internship?
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, be at least 18 years of age, possess unrestricted work authorization, and currently participate in a Disney College Program or Internship if applicable.
What type of candidates are preferred for this role?
Candidates who are in their junior or senior year pursuing a degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field are preferred.
Is housing provided during the internship?
Interns need to provide their own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area. Limited housing opportunities may be available through American Campus Communities.
Are there any specific qualifications or skills required for this internship?
Yes, candidates should have a high level of curiosity about Licensed Consumer Products, excellent organizational skills, strong communication and presentation skills, and solid digital literacy (Keynote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Can I apply for this internship if I have participated in previous Disney internships?
Current Disney interns may only work for one consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of internships and/or programs.
What responsibilities will the intern have?
The intern will support the Hardlines and/or Consumables licensing team in category analysis, product development, retail, sales, and marketing tasks, including conducting store checks, liaising with teams, and preparing presentations.
