Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in one and/or more of the following programming languages (Java, Python, C++)
  • Understanding or experience with Linux
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Node, and React
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Understanding of Agile development practices
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Information Technology or a related major
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
  • Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2025 (12 weeks)
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in Morrisville, NC
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Responsibilities

  • We are looking to fill multiple technology summer internships within DE&ET organization.
  • By applying to this Software Engineering Internship position, you will be considered for opportunities across multiple teams and projects based in-person in Morrisville, NC.
  • Interns also have the opportunity to partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to design, build and maintain ease for use data structures to facilitate reporting and monitoring key performance indicators.
  • You’d be making a significant impact on some of the most successful brands in the media and entertainment business by participating in challenging projects, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
