Yes, you must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, as operating a company vehicle is required for this role.
What are the educational requirements for this internship?
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to the internship, have graduated within 6 months, or be currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship. A major in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related major is preferred.
Do I need prior experience with The Walt Disney Company?
Previous operations experience with The Walt Disney Company is preferred but not strictly required.
Is housing provided for interns?
Interns must arrange their own housing in the Orlando, FL area. Limited housing opportunities may be available through American Campus Communities.
Will I have the opportunity to work on projects with other team members?
Yes, as an intern, you will collaborate with the learning team and assist in coordinating offerings and serving as a liaison for key partners.
What skills are necessary to succeed in this internship?
Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, guest service skills, conflict resolution, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills are essential for this internship.
