What are the main responsibilities of the DSE Pricing & Revenue Management intern?
Interns will support the identification, measurement, and estimation of consumer demand trends, research incremental revenue opportunities, analyze historical pricing and booking data, complete ad hoc projects, and support inventory management and pricing implementation.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, possess effective communication skills, have a curiosity for data analysis, be self-motivated and detail-oriented, and should be in their Junior or Senior year of college, preferably with a major in Finance, Statistics, Math, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Is previous experience in the travel industry required?
No, but general knowledge or previous experience in the Cruise, Airline, or Travel & Tourism industry is preferred.
Are there specific technical skills required for this position?
Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, VBA, Tableau, and/or Python is preferred, but not required.
Can I apply if I have already participated in a Disney internship program?
Current Disney Interns or participants in the College, International, or Culinary Programs may only work for one consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
What is the hourly pay for this internship?
The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $22.00 per hour.
Will I need to provide my own housing?
Yes, interns are responsible for providing their own housing for the duration of the program in the Orlando, FL area.
What is the expected work schedule for the internship?
Interns must have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the duration of the internship, fully available Monday through Friday for 40 hours each week.
Are there any appearance guidelines to follow?
