Requirements

  • Previous 1-2 years’ work experience in a Marketing role
  • Knowledge of and passion for DISNEYLAND® Resort and key offerings
  • Demonstrated strong business analysis, communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze data for a situation and formulate a point of view
  • Effective project management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to lead multiple projects from end to end
  • Proven self-starter with ability to navigate and communicate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders across multiple teams and levels
  • Proficient in formulating a story through building presentations and distilling data
  • Expert in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat or similar design program
  • It would be nice if you also had…
  • Proficient in Keynote, Adobe Acrobat Suite
  • Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish
  • Previous experience as a Disney Cast Member
  • Required Education:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
  • Currently enrolled as a junior or higher, or graduated within six months of application submission, in an accredited college/university earning a degree in Tourism & Hotel Management, Business Administration with emphasis in concentrations such as Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Management or related field
  • Additional Details:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • This internship is a primarily on-site position - Must be able to provide a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
  • Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024
  • Work details - Must be able to work FULL TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
  • Transportation - Must have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Housing - Must provide own housing for duration of the program

Responsibilities

  • Sales Integration
  • Compile, manage and submit Sales Marketing tactic grid inputs to internal creative team Yellow Shoes for every campaign including project management from input to delivery
  • Coordinate digital updates for trade-specific channels
  • Create, maintain and update Sale Marketing presentations and collateral with most up date to date priorities and resort happenings
  • Coordinate Sales, Hotels and Gatherings inputs for integrated communication plans
  • Hotels
  • Manage communications, feedback and delivery of short-term hotel pipeline projects such as new and seasonal experiences, hotel offers and campaign integration
  • Compile partner inputs on hotel support and develop presentation decks that summarize marketing and communication support for on-property hotels
  • Coordinate all post-booking tactics including input and reviews on pre-arrival emails, in-app notifications, and on-property touchpoints
  • Lead, manage and develop social content inputs for Hotels
  • Provide support on longer term hotel projects as needed
  • Meetings & Events
  • Lead, manage and develop social content inputs for Disney Meetings & Events
  • Manage marketing sales tools requests inclusive of vetting requests, routing for approvals and working with designers
