Requirements

  • Current University Student (At Least Second Year) Required, In Actuarial Sciences Or A Program With Heavy Emphasis On Mathematics, Statistics Or Engineering
  • Actuarial Exams Are Not Required
  • Knowledge Of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel And PowerPoint)
  • Organized, Detail-Oriented, Effective Time Management Skills
  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills And A Demonstrated Ability To Interact With Colleagues At All Levels
  • Strong Client Delivery Orientation
  • Ability To Work Both Independently And On Client Teams
  • Ability To Apply Problem Solving Techniques In A Business Environment

Responsibilities

  • Participate And Actively Engage In Training Sessions
  • Perform Actuarial Valuations And Prepare Valuation Reports
  • Perform Data Analysis And Reconciliations Of Pension Plan Or Post Retirement Plan Participant Data
  • Perform Pension Benefit Calculations Using Established Spreadsheets Or Our Proprietary Plan Administration System
  • Prepare Government Reporting Forms And Annual Employee Benefit Statements
  • Support Special Projects As Ad-Hoc Needs Arise
  • Work With Other Colleagues To Ensure That Each Project Is Completed On Time And Meets Quality Standards
  • Respond To All Requests And Communications Effectively And Efficiently
