Requirements

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering major in power engineering.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
  • familiarity with software tools such as Bluebeam Revu, BIM 360, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

  • Support electrical design by professional electrical engineers including electrical calculations: ampacity, voltage drop, and conduit sizing.
  • Perform field visits.
  • Based on equipment cut sheets, do layout of equipment and devices, drawings interpretation, attending meetings, preparation of markups, back check of markups implementation.
  • Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
  • Perform other duties as needed
