Requirements

Required Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
Attention to detail a must
Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering major in power engineering.
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
familiarity with software tools such as Bluebeam Revu, BIM 360, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.

Responsibilities

Support electrical design by professional electrical engineers including electrical calculations: ampacity, voltage drop, and conduit sizing.
Perform field visits.
Based on equipment cut sheets, do layout of equipment and devices, drawings interpretation, attending meetings, preparation of markups, back check of markups implementation.
Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
Perform other duties as needed
