Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
Presently undertaking an undergraduate ( BSc, BEng or MEng ) degree in Electronic Engineering or closely related subject that covers analogue or digital circuit design.
Expected minimum 2:1 degree in Electronic Engineering or closely related subject.
Experience of designing building and testing electronic circuits.
Experience of software development in C, C# or similar language.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills (English language).
A diligent, self-motivated, attitude with excellent attention to detail and be a “completer finisher” type.
The following skills will also be beneficial:
Experience of the Linux operating system and scripting languages.
Experience of designing with Verilog (or VHDL).
Experience in the use of an analogue simulation tool.
Experience in the use of FPGA design tools.

Responsibilities

Learn how to use and become proficient with our complex IC design tools.
Perform analogue and/or digital design and simulation tasks.
Develop software in C#, C and assembler to test our devices.
Perform bench validation and characterisation work.
Design and assembly of test equipment to support our IC validation activities.
Document your results and write specifications and reports.
